Get to Know Jamie Burke and Our Creative Journey

Jamie Marie Burke was born on July 27, 1980, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Boise, Idaho. She later attended College of Southern Idaho, where she earned an AAS degree in Computer Graphic Design. Although she completed her education in that field, she never pursued a career related to her degree. In her early 30s, Jamie also attended Idaho State University and Boise State University, where she gained experience in writing through English courses she completed during her studies.

Jamie’s journey down what she describes as “the rabbit hole” began in 2018, when she decided to stand up for herself and others. Her writing journey truly began while she was incarcerated in an IDOC facility. During that time, she began developing her voice and ideas through writing.

While at recreation one day, Jamie says she saw President Donald Trump give credit for her work to what she describes as a fake whistleblower connected to corruption within the FBI. That moment became a turning point for her. Jamie believed she needed to begin exposing what she saw as corruption and possible hidden agendas affecting the American people.

Although she had never been deeply interested in the art of writing before, Jamie decided she would write a book to share what she believed to be the truth. Starting completely from scratch, she began handwriting her books while still in prison. Her goal became documenting her experiences, beliefs, and perspectives about the systems she felt had failed ordinary people.

Beyond her writing, Jamie Marie Burke describes herself as an adventurous and free-spirited woman who enjoys spending time with her family and her husband whenever possible. She has three grown children: Brian, Mariah, and Eaon Cummings/Burke. Jamie married her husband, Simon Burke, on August 12, 2017, and the two continue to reside together today.

Jamie Marie Burke hopes that one day her book will reveal where, in her view, the shadowy elites working behind the scenes went wrong when they incorporated their system and influence over society.
